"One of the most popular village dining places in Sheung Shui and always full of people at all times of week and day. I ordered a hotdog set and topped up with a green tea ice cream and red bean drink. The hotdog reminds me of something from the 1980s, totally nostalgic and it was quite good. Their rice plates are also very good. Closed at 6pm."

"Popular Hong Kong style cafe operating since 1952 and reputed to be frequented by movie stars and celebrities! Signature dishes are fried beef with rice noodles, curry dishes, roast baby pigeon, Portuguese pork chop bun and French toast. The red bean ice drinks are made with big beans and taste is one of the best in HK. The cafe is busy all day, especially during lunch. The prices are reasonable and the afternoon tea sets are the best value. Air conditioned but can get pretty hot during the Summer! Parking available"

"Typical ca caan teng menu, very nice mom and pop family vibe. The family has owned the land for generations and they also have an array of pets and rescue animals, including their signature giant tortoises. They also have dragon fish and stingrays in the back. Decent food, friendly staff, great vibe. Have returned many times."

"A cafe survives for three quarters of a century deserves our respect. The cafe has a surprisingly extensive menu for such a small kitchen. We did not try their famous pork buns. Food is good and the staff are super friendly and attentive. The highlight was after we had our food we went to see the turtles which are at the right hand side as you face the entrance of the restaurant, the lady owner gave us a basket of vegetables to feed the turtles . It was super fun to watch them eating. Food 8/10, service 9/10, ambience 7.5/10, value for money 8/10. Worth the drive to visit."

"Food is good especially the oyster rice soup and the pork chop bun. Staff attitude is nice even though they are packed. Don’t need to wait too long for food. Parking lot sometimes during weekend, maybe full although there’s a big parking lot behind the restaurant"
